I consider myself a 'design alchemist' transforming raw visual and conceptual substances into works of substantial value. This process requires discovering and distilling down a conceptual or problematic design schism, then combining expressive, purposeful design elements into a transmutation of creative aestheticism and communicative artistry.
The best part of 'designing'—a process defined by a particular project goal centered on a specific outcome—is solving an existing problem with relevant, purposeful design. The greatest aspect of 'design' is seeing a tangible product that yields an elevated, timeless sense of expression—whether through a brand expressing it's greatest purpose, or the practicality of apparel that is as good for the environment as ones health. I believe the alchemical nature of design today is serving the world responsible design, the kind that makes the world a better place, makes you feel good about what you do during your brief time on this precious earth, or elevates the beauty of human potential in some way.

Art provokes materiality, human motivation, and the interplay of the flat-plane spreading its wings into the abysmal depths of the notion of art superseding the dimensional perspective from which it is limited—breaking the bounds of infiniteness.
From an early age I was enchanted with exploring a variety of mediums and material forms—from sewing to two dimensional drawings and later 3-D design. After turning down an art scholarship to the Atlanta College of Art, I developed an interest in abstract paintings, collages and later a fascination with book arts.
